Yesterday was four months. Yesterday was perfect. Yesterday meant we've been together a grand total of six months - half a year.
We snuggled and kissed under piles of blankets while it rained heavily outside. He bought me food and coffee and helped me pick out father's day cards. We went to the park and ran around like children and smoked like we were adults. We even rewrote our names on the slide where they'd been scrubbed off rom earlier. We wrote it bigger too - a very resounding, black, bold: Elizabeth <3's Michael. Of course, the heart was drawn the right way.
We went back to the house and curled up on the couch, occasionally engaging in childish games of tickling and we squirmed and giggled. We went back in his room and just...stayed there on the bed. Holding, kissing, nuzzling. I, overemotional and all, cried from the sheer perfection of it all. He did a little bit too.
I love him more than anything.
